Cops Called Over Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's Latest Custody Confrontation

Cops called as custody battle between Paula Patton and Robin Thicke intensifies

The 39-year-old singer was waiting along with a court appointed monitor for his visit with son Julian, 6, at a Malubi park when he claims Patton was more than an hour late, according to the gossip site. Sources close to Paula told TMZ that Robin was at the Malibu park and violated the restraining order by being too close to Paula when she arrived with her son. Her camp also claims that Julian decided he did not want to go with his father and then asked his mother to call 911. But by the time deputies arrived at the scene, Patton and her son had left.

"He was not in violation of the restraining order", the Thicke source added. "He's followed the same protocol they follow every single week, and that time and location and protocol was agreed to by both parties".

Reps for Thicke and Patton have not responded to requests for comment.

Thursday would have been Thicke's only day last week to visit Julian, due to concert appearances this weekend. However, by the time police arrived, Patton and Julian were already gone. "They went up to Robin and they said, "Someone called saying you broke the restraining order" and he said, 'No, this is my designated spot to pick up my son".

"Here's what happens", the source close to Thicke tells Us.

After the deputy mentioned a possible accident involving a vehicle similar to Patton's, Thicke asked the police to look into the accident because "that could be my son", adds the Thicke source.

"The Court issued temporary orders today based exclusively on paperwork", she continued.

Thicke is reportedly under investigation on allegations of child abuse for spanking his son. "We believe that DCFS sees the damage that Paula has done to Julian and will take appropriate action to protect him".
