Nokia 3310 to Run On Series 30+, Have Swappable Features

The FaceBook live stream teaser says, "We'll be announcing live on Facebook the details of our Nokia smartphones on Android - see it here first!" The new Nokia 3310 is set to be priced at Euro 59 (approximately Rs 4,000) and will be unveiled alongside the Nokia 3, and the flagship Nokia 8 on February 26 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

A new video has been released by Concept Creators on what consumers may expect in the modernized Nokia 3310.

According to a report by GizmoChina, the new Nokia 3310 will continue to retain the same key features and design elements of the original model - launched almost 17 years ago. HMD Global's 3310 relaunch will also feature a color display instead of the monochrome screen from the original model, and it will be available in at least six colors including black, gray, blue, green, red and yellow. It will also look a lot like the original phone released in 2000 (pictured below for reference), but it'll be lighter and thinner, which makes total sense, considering phone components have slimmed down quite a bit in the last two decades. There are rumors said that Sony might not announce their 2017 flagship devices at the show due to Samsung's exclusivity to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU, implying that Sony can't officially launch their own phone with the same chipset before Samsung's Smartphone go on sale.

The new Nokia 3310 is rumored to feature updates on its screen and hardware while keeping its original charm.

Nokia is set to unveil the classic 3310 at the World Mobile Congress this weekend. It will come in oval shaped now. The interface will be colorful, not monochromatic as in the case of the classic Nokia 3310. The device was one of Nokia's most successful phones ever. Further according to the site, while physical key buttons will remain the same, their size could change in the new Nokia 3310.

Yesterday, few details about Nokia 3310's expected design and features were leaked online.

Incorporated into the Nokia 3310 is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor; 2GB of RAM; 1430mAh battery; 32GB inbuilt storage; Bluetooth 4.0; Wi-Fi and 3G - a moderate spec for a Windows mobile.
