Destiny 2 Poster Leaked, Could be Announced Today

Destiny 2

Outside of the release date, the posters also seem to point to some type of beta event that will run ahead of release. Considering that this was also the case with the original Destiny, this shouldn't be too much of a surprise.

Destiny 2, the second entry in the series developed by Bungie, has been in development for quite some time, with Activision confirming multiple times that it will release sometime this year.

The initial leak came from Jason Schreier at Kotaku, who has been a very reliable source for all things Destiny-related since its launch.

However, the release date of September 8 could only be for the European version of the game.

Beta expected to hit PlayStation 4 in June. This should include details on the beta and how fans should be able to join. The posters contain images of only the human race from the game - there's no Exo or Awaken, which is interesting. One note to keep an eye on is whether the rumored PC version of the game becomes official. There's more info directly from the poster though. There are not many games that are as aggressive as Destiny with their DLC and expansions packs.

The game blends first-person shooting gameplay with elements of massively multiplayer online games, allowing you to run into other players in virtual worlds and tackle challenging missions with a big group.

The changes in game structure comes with some consequences, however.

There has never been a battle in the Tower before, which suggests that this could be something being saved for an epic set battle in Destiny 2. All experience, perks, armor, weapons, and items will not make the jump. With regards to Destiny 2 if you are just going to go with the poster it seems it will be pretty different from its predecessor.
