"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" makes it debut this Friday, March 3rd, for gamers everywhere.

The Legend of Zelda Breath Of The WildGame is equipped with a state-of-the-art physics engine that allows the new console to provide a level of gameplay and interaction above and beyond most games now available.

However, it's not just Nintendo we should be eyeing with suspicion right now: many BotW reviewers are clearly failing to do their due diligence in assessing the game. In Breath of the Wild, however, you'll now have a dedicated jump button to time your own leaps.

Takuhiro Dohta, technical director on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, joined Nintendo in 2003 and has worked on a number of past Zelda games including Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and The Wind Waker, as well as the likes of Wii Sports and NintendoLand.

Breath of the Wild is more than just a Zelda title, it's the newest and most interesting take on the world of Hyrule. While the formulaic game design of "The Legend of Zelda" used to be a hallmark that was coveted by game designers, it is now nearly too predictable, hand-holding and tedious.

Gamespot, 10/10: From its mysterious opening to its action-packed conclusion, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a revolution for Nintendo's revered series. It's one of the best video games I've ever played.

Before the concept for BotW was locked in, there were more freaky ideas tossed about - "Hyrule Wars" and "The Legend of Zelda: INVASION" appear to be more sci-fi takes, reminiscent of when A Link to the Past featured time travel to a futuristic world in early stages of development. The game's physics engine was also running the whole time too, so Nintendo was able to take that protoype and start building on top of it quite easily. Breath of the Wild requires more strategy than ever before. Fortunately, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is way more "dense, challenging, and full of wonder" than previous entries in the franchise, according to GameSpot's Peter Brown. "We have over 100 Shrines, and because we wanted players to have fun find finding the dungeons and Shrines, there is actually a compass item users can use to help them find the Shrines".

Polygon, 10/10: I guess, in the end, it's not just that Breath of the Wild signals that Zelda has finally evolved and moved beyond the structure it's leaned on for so long.
