Togo worldwide footballer saves goalkeeper's life on pitch

VIDEO Hero lifesaver Kone saves goalkeeper from choking to death

The Togo global, who plays for Slovacko in the Czech league, noticed the opposing keeper, Bohemians' Martin Borkovec, was lying motionless during a match Saturday.

Bohemians goalkeeper Martin Berkovec immediately appeared to be in trouble after colliding with defender Daniel Krch.

Kone was quick enough to realise what was going on and put his fingers in Berkovec's mouth to fish out his tongue.

This weekend, Togo faced Bohemia during a league game in the Czech Republic. Kone also admitted post-match that this was the FOURTH time he has done an act like that.

Thankfully, the quick reaction of Slovacko striker Francis Kone saved the goalkeeper's life right there on the pitch.

Fortunately for Berkovec, 26-year-old Kone promptly attended to the shot-stopper, after spotting he had swallowed his tongue, and immediately pulled it out to save his life.

Berkovec was kept overnight for observation at a hospital and a CT scan showed no injury. It translates to: "I'd like to say thank you to God for having removed a colleague of the worst, because without him we would know today invaded of thoughts regrettable. I'm glad for the relief and thanks again!", he wrote on his Facebook page. He added, "I hope that Martin...will recover quickly to regain the football field".
