Central Intelligence Agency plotted to kill Kim Jong-un, claims North Korea

North Korea on Friday accused the US Central Intelligence Agency and South Korea's intelligence service of a failed plot to assassinate its leader Kim Jong-un with a biochemical bomb at a military parade in Pyongyang.

The Ministry of State Security claimed that a terrorist group backed by the CIA and South Korea's intelligence agency had entered the country to attack Kim with a bio-chemical substance.

But refusing to crack down on North leads to a North Korea racing toward its nuclear finish-line, USA military build-up in Northeast Asia, and even a direct military conflict with the United States, the expert said.

The ministry alleged that the North Korean man had been "turned" by the CIA and the South Korean intelligence service while working in Russian Federation in 2014. The Kim regime has been testing ballistic missiles in recent days, while the US began installing a defense system in South Korea that would ideally destroy missiles launched from the North before they hit their intended target.

"We will ferret out and mercilessly destroy the last one the terrorists of the US CIA", the North's KCNA official news outlet reported.

The plot was foiled, it said, but gave no details on the fate of "Kim".

The CIA declined to comment on the allegations.

The possible locations for the killing included events at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, a military parade, or a public procession after Kim Jong-Un return home, according to the statement.

"They told him that assassination by use of biochemical substances including radioactive substance and nano poisonous substance is the best method that does not require access to the target, their lethal results will appear after six or twelve months".

"Korean-style anti-terrorist attack will be commenced from this moment to sweep away the intelligence and plot-breeding organisations of the USA imperialists and the puppet clique", the statement says.

Then, in April, reports suggested that China's patience with North Korea was wearing thin as Pyongyang continued to conduct nuclear missile tests, and that Beijing was considering a suspension of its crude oil exports to its neighbor should North Korea conduct a sixth nuclear test.

With President Trump promising to stop North Korea developing nuclear weapons, these are also tense times, when Pyongyang could have been tempted to hit back at the US.

"Most political people would never say that", Trump said, "but I'm telling you under the right circumstances, I would meet with him".
