Kanye Will Not Be Attending The Met Gala, Kim Will Fly Solo

Sorry guys, there won't be a head-turning Kimye appearance at this year's MET Gala.

The couple have been a red carpet mainstay at the event for years, after Ye developed a friendship with Anna Wintour and convinced her to let Kim, a member of the previously-banned Kardashians, attend for the first time in 2013.

"Kanye West will not be attending the Met Ball tomorrow", the source told People magazine. "Kim will be going solo".

The source went on to say that Kanye has made a decision to stay in LA with their kids and is "supportive" of Kim going solo.

He'll stay at home in LA with his children, North and Saint, instead of going to the event in NY. However, the 39-year-old record producer's wife and reality TV personality Kim Kardashian will attend the star-studded affair.

Here are Kim and Kanye's best Met Gala looks.

Last year, the couple wore coordinating metallic Balmain ensembles.

Meanwhile Kim, 36, is enjoying her return to the spotlight after her traumatising Paris robbery and is expected to be wearing Vivienne Westwood for tonight's extravaganza.
