Reynolds, Lively surprise McCarthy on TV show

The sketch opened with Sarah Huckabee Sanders taking the podium, who was filling in for Spicer because he was fulfilling his Naval Reserve duty. Or at least he's supposed to be on leave. "Let's do this, first question: Michelin Man - oh, I'm sorry, I mean Glenn".

After reporters ask SNL's Sanders where Spicer is, he's shown peering into the window - from behind a bush, of course. This time, it's a Russian nesting doll featuring the likes of President Trump, Jake the Dog from "Adventure Time", Vladimir Putin, Slimer from "Ghostbusters", and Pikachu. He maintains that he won't fire Spicer, before playfully tickling him. This elicits a crisis of faith in Spicer that sends him on a quest to find his friend Trump, set to "The Loneliest Boy in New York" by Simon and Garfunkel. She introduced her to Alec Baldwin in his full Trump getup as well as Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively (or, as McCarthy referred to them, "The Livelys") for some reason.

To find out, McCarthy's dismayed Spicer took his moving lectern to the streets of NY to speak with Trump.

One sketch featured McCarthy as the hot-tempered Spicer commandeering his motorized podium through the streets of midtown Manhattan - a sequence spotted by the media on Friday while it was being filmed. Even Baldwin implied as much when he stated recently he might retire his Trump impression at the end of this "SNL" season next week. Interviewed by NBC News' Lester Holt (actually cast member Michael Che), Trump was asked if he could assure the nation he wouldn't name someone "crazy" to replace ousted FBI Director James Comey. As he's known to do, Trump demands Holt's undying loyalty and reminds him he won the election, before completely bungling what should be a simple Q&A on why he fired Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey.

"I guess the L.A Times said that somebody had seen one alongside the highway down by Santa Monica, and some other guy went over in Washington D.C. and got his picture outside the Watergate hotel", Kadonaga told The Canadian Press Sunday night. The two share a passionate embrace before Trump says, "Sean, kiss me". We wonder if Kimberly Guilfoyle is doing the same dance while thinking about the job she's about to take from incumbent Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
