RGV and KRK slams Sridevi for rejecting Baahubali 2

In Baahubali: The Beginning, where Sivagami saved Mahendra Baahubali from drowning, and the scene in the climax, she was one of the powerful characters ever written in Indian cinema. While everyone is in awe of the showman - the visionary SS Rajamouli, whose grand vision has turned into a global phenomenon, the contribution of the film's star cast can't be ignored. The veteran actress just nailed with her performance in both parts of the franchise.

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali 2 has achieved a rare feat as it has reportedly collected Rs 1,000 crore and created history at the box office.

It is said that the charming Ramya Krishna has charged Rs 2.5 crore for the same role and was immediately on board for the role.

It is well-known now that Sridevi was the one who was first offered the powerful role of Shivagami that was eventually played by Ramya Krishnan. But initially, did you know who is the first go-to for the role? However, the actress demanded for a whopping 6 crores which resulted in the makers opting for Ramya who settled for 2.5 crores.

With a career spanning over three decades, Ramya Krishnan has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam films. And what’s really interesting about the commercial is that he has been roped in opposite Sivagami. The film, which is having a historic run at the box office, is declared as the biggest film of the Indian cinema so far.
