Rihanna Is The Unspoken Goddess Of The NBA

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar threw down a powerful jam during Game 1 of their NBA Finals rematch against the Golden State Warriors, but the basketball analyst was preoccupied with the world famous musician walking in front of him.

Of course, as Van Gundy told his national audience Thursday, he had a good excuse: he was distracted by a certain pop star.

"I think when you're the prohibitive favorite against LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, that means you're a heck of a team, and they sure are", Van Gundy said Tuesday on a conference media call.

All Van Gundy could comment upon was the Bahamian songstress seated nearby.

In all fairness to Van Gundy, we'd probably go a little insane if we saw the eight-time Grammy Award victor in person. With Van Gundy and Jackson, two who are never afraid to let their strong opinions be heard, that will undoubtedly be a topic of conversation on the broadcast.

The NBA Finals are often a star-studded affair, and that was particularly obvious in Game One on Thursday night.
