Secret Service says it does not have any White House tapes

Get Started: Administration signaling labor law changes

Press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters on Monday that the administration is "currently reviewing" the opinion from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that found Trump's proposal to temporarily ban immigration from six majority-Muslim countries unconstitutional and expressed confidence the president would ultimately be vindicated.

While Sessions testifies on Capitol Hill, President Trump will be visiting Wisconsin to mark the start of Workforce Development Week.

The Secret Service, which protects the president and his family, maintained a secret taping system for the White House in the eras of John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon.

'I think he was actually specifically asked whether or not he would talk to Director Mueller, and he made it very clear what his position was, ' Spicer said.

At Friday's news conference, ABC News' Jonathan Karl probed Trump on the tapes, his willingness to testify and a set of tweets that morning accusing Comey of making false statements.

DailyMail.com asked whether Trump would testify "under oath" before Congress takes its summer vacation.

"When he's ready to further discuss it, he will".

"If there are tapes, and if they are subpoenaed, I think the White House will probably have to turn them over", CNN legal analyst Stephen Vladeck said.

The prime minister's office said Sunday the invitation was still good, after a newspaper reported Trump wanted to postpone the trip.

That tweet has prompted repeated demands from the congressional committees investigating any possible collusion between Trump's team and Russian Federation during the 2016 campaign, and the process by which he fired Comey, for him to hand over any tapes that exist.

Comey said during his testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee Thursday that he hopes tapes do exist since, since they would back up his claim that Trump asked for personal loyalty and told him to back off of an investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. "You're going to be very disappointed when you hear the answer, don't worry". "Why can't that question be answered simply?"
