Train stabbing survivor says don't focus on him

So, I ask you Mr. President to take action at this time.

His recorded statements in the police auto were revealed in an affidavit released Tuesday. "Leave this country if you hate our freedom", he added.

"I hope they all die".

"People feel like they need to come together for the family", he said. I call it patriotism!

The 35-year-old is facing aggravated murder charges but police expect a grand jury to consider additional charges in the next few days.

On Friday, the eve of Ramadan, two men were murdered and another severely injured following an altercation with a white supremacist in Portland, Oregon.

CNN has reached out to Christian's attorney for comment.

Prosecutors say the man charged with stabbing three men aboard a Portland light-rail train confessed while in the back seat of a patrol vehicle after his arrest.

A victim who survived a stabbing attack after confronting a suspect allegedly yelling hate speech at two young women on a Portland light rail train has been released from the hospital, reports CBS affiliate KOIN.Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler urged organizers of a "Trump Free Speech Rally" scheduled for Sunday in a park to cancel it, saying the event was inappropriate after the stabbings and speculating that it could turn violent. Christian screamed, according to the affidavit.

"The Muslim community, especially in Portland, needs to understand that there are a lot of us that are not going to stand by and let anybody - whether they are from here or not - scare you into thinking you can't be a part of this town, this city, this community, or this country", he told ABC.

"Get the f*** out!" he said, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Christian served prison time after holding up employees at a convenience store with a gun in 2002, court records show.

Investigators say Christian stabbed three men who attempted to intervene as he verbally abused two women, one of whom was wearing a hijab, on Friday while aboard a train.

Destinee and her friend moved to the back of the train. A stranger intervened, telling Christian he couldn't disrespect the girls in such a way, she said. He said they will instead march in Seattle. It wasn't immediately clear if Namkai-Meche, 23, said something to Christian to draw his attention, but he stood up as Christian began shouting at him. Court documents say Christian shoved Fletcher in the chest and appeared to pull a folding knife from his pocket and hide it in his hand.

Michaels says surviving victim Micah Fletcher told her Christian yelled the epithets and also threatened to decapitate people.

This hateful courtroom rant is another addition to Christian's bio data of white nationalism.

Christian's Facebook page he showed sympathy for Nazis and wrote in April "May all the Gods Bless Timothy McVeigh, a TRUE PATRIOT!", a reference to the man who bombed a federal building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

In the probable cause affidavit, prosecutors said video feeds in the back of a patrol vehicle captured Christian saying after his arrest that he had stabbed three people in the neck. Christian pushed Best into Namkai-Meche, who was seated trying to stop the bleeding from his wound.

While in the back of a Portland police auto, Christian confessed to the stabbing and told officers, "I can die a happy man", according to court documents.

Christian was waving his knife when he got off the train, Robinson told KATU. He'd also been reportedly videotaped at a conservative rally yelling slurs against Jews, Muslims, and what he called "fake Christians".

Several witnesses followed Christian, anxious that he could get away, and directed his whereabouts to a police officer, according to local media reports.

Some passengers stayed behind to help Best and Namkai-Meche. Two men were killed. Rick Best was an Army veteran.

She was able to speak in person with Namkai-Meche's family. Her son and another man died. "Because they didn't even know me and they lost their lives because of me and my friend and the way we look". "We're here", Macy was quoted in the newspaper. Kramer died of his injuries while at the hospital, while Anderson is reportedly suffering from serious injuries.
