WWDC '17: First look at Apple's new iMac Pro

Apple also updated the 13-inch MacBook Pro by bumping up the processors to the latest Kaby Lake platform. I'd say Apple announcing the iMac Pro is pretty much the nail in the coffin for the little black can design. As for connectivity, it will offer four Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type C ports, with the system able to run up to two 5K displays at the same time alongside its 5K Retina screen.

Release for the iMac Pro won't be until December in Australia, and unfortunately there's no price yet, but with a starting price of $4999 Dollars, don't expect this one to be cheap. The device is equipped with Intel Kaby Lake processors that can be clocked up to 4.2GHz with the Turbo Boost technology. The 13-inch MacBook Pro without the Touch Bar now comes for Rs 1,09,900 which is cheaper than its previous Rs 1,29,000 price tag.

Lastly, Apple's powerful new iMacs begin at Rs 90900, Rs 107900, and Rs 148900 for the 21.5-inch non-Retina, 21.5-inch Retina, and 27.5-inch Retina versions, correspondingly.

It might look the same between the identical chassis and screen, but Apple has seriously upgraded the storage, added twice the maximum memory capacity and introduced 7th generation (Kaby Lake) Intel processors with this refresh.

Just like its predecessor, the 2017 MacBook weighs 2.03 pounds (920g) and measures 0.52 inches (1.31cm) at its thickest point. The 13-inch MacBook Air also got a faster processor in a rare update.

There's a high-end variant of the 21.5-inch iMac with Retina 4K display that comes with Radeon Pro 560 GPU with 4GB dedicated Virtual RAM along with 1TB of Fusion Drive. It's obvious by this point that few people have opted for the expensive, severely outdated Mac Pro when they could get a fully equipped, quad-core 27-inch iMac with a built-in 5K display for the same price. Apple also confirmed that it doesn't have plans to sell the Space Gray Apple Magic Keyboard, mouse and trackpad that come with the new iMac Pro separately.

In addition, Apple Inc.

"We're thrilled to give developers and customers a sneak peek at iMac Pro". The company also teased the new iMac Pro, which is believed to be the most powerful Mac launched ever.

U.S. chipmaker AMD on Tuesday unveiled a high performance, power-efficient "Radeon Pro 500" series graphics for Apple iMac. They are Intel's 7th gen chipset, and this means that the entire line of MacBook Pro products has received a substantial boost in processing power. Ternus claimed that the new system is up to 3 times faster than the previous generation in terms of graphics, while the 27-inch will be 50 percent faster.

The iMac Pro is scheduled to ship in December starting at $4,999 in the US.

The Touch Bar MacBook Pro is still expensive as hell.
