With Barnett now on his side, a series of lucrative deals that have followed presidents and senior White House advisers from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to the private sector seem to be on the table for Spicer.

The news was first covered by the New York Post, which reported that Spicer met "with all the major TV and news networks, including NBC, CBS and Fox News last week".

Barnett represented clients such as Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Madeleine Albright and Ben Bernanke. The former press secretary, who resigned in the wake of hiring Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci (who was then fired 10 days later because the White House is now a soap opera), has declined a role on the show because of an "overwhelming number of commitments in the fall".

Also, "he's not a good dancer", they added.

If you had your heart set on seeing Sean Spicer stumble his way through a rumba on live television, sorry about your luck.

Spicer is also reportedly looking for a book deal and speaking engagements, but, again, there's no indication that he's going to land either.

While he will not be lacing up his dancing shoes any time soon, the former Republican National Committee staffer can be expected to return in front of a camera soon.

Aides who once reported to Spicer told Politico they aren't sure what he does all day since resigning, but he's been spotted at meetings on tax reform and attending some public ceremonies and giving his family a tour of the White House grounds.
