Roy Moore's accuser admits she 'added notes' to yearbook

Roy Moore accuser Beverly Young Nelson: 'I pray that he's changed'

Television viewers may remember Beverly Young Nelson.

Mason quipped, "This yenta, Gloria Allred is not only a fake".

At her original press conference with Allred, Nelson claimed that Moore wrote the entire yearbook inscription. "Let's count how many national outlets will ignore the fact that she admits to lying", Moore tweeted as news of Nelson's admission broke widely on Friday.

She admitted adding the date and location under Moore's signature, despite her attorney Gloria Allred's earlier claim that the Republican candidate wrote it all.

He said Doug Jones will be "completely controlled" by the Democrats and declared that they need someone in that Senate seat who will support his agenda.

"He did sign it", she answered.

Nelson alleged that a week or two after signing the yearbook at the restaurant, Moore offered her a ride home from work and assaulted her in his vehicle.

Jauregui and Moore campaign chairman Bill Armistead spoke to the media at the Renaissance hotel in Montgomery. She started writing things in the yearbook. " 'To a sweeter and more lovely girl I could not say Merry Christmas".

Allred said she retained forensic handwriting expert Arthur Anthony to examine the inscription by comparing Moore's "known standard handwriting and signature to the entry in Beverly's yearbook".

Allred held a press conference Friday to defend Nelson. Moore also said the handwriting in Nelson's yearbook was not his - adding that he was not the district attorney at the time, but the assistant district attorney.

Phillip L. Jauregui, a Moore campaign attorney, raised numerous questions about the signature, including about the "DA", attempting to link it to a signature on Nelson's 1999 divorce document.

Fox later changed the headline on its website to "Roy Moore accuser admits she wrote part of yearbook inscription attributed to Alabama Senate candidate". Nelson said she voted for Trump in 2016.

"Until they release the yearbook, all we know is, they're not telling the truth and they've lied", he said.

"What they said then was either a lie or what they said today was a lie".

One woman claims he molested her when she was 14 years old and he was in his 30s, working as an Alabama prosecutor. Moore has posted on Twitter frequently about the yearbook, calling his signature a forgery. We don't know. And then again I hope that he's changed. This contradicts an interview Moore gave with Sean Hannity on November 10, in which Moore said he knew two of the accusers when they were teenagers.
