Dallas Cop Kills Man After Entering HIS Apartment … Believing it was Hers

Dallas police officer kills 26-year-old man after entering wrong apartment believing it was her own

While she's on administrative leave, the Dallas Police Department is conducting a joint investigation with the District Attorney's Office.

Amber Guyger, or Amy Gyger, allegedly had some type of relationship with Jean, 26, before he reportedly opened the door she was trying to force her way into and shot him dead on the spot, according to hundreds of tweets as of Saturday morning.

Jean was killed by a Dallas police officer who mistook Jean's apartment for her own at around 10 p.m. Thursday, Police Chief Renee Hall said. Authorities say she will be charged with manslaughter. He graduated with a degree in accounting from the Harding University in Arkansas in 2016 and stayed in the USA after getting an internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas, where he worked in the risk assurance department, as per the NBC News report.

Hall said Friday that the officer's blood was drawn to be tested for drugs and alcohol.

"We hope to bring understanding to the family", she said.

Jean was the son of Allison Jean, former Permanent Secretary of the Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations for St. Lucia, according to St. Lucia Ambassador Anton Edmunds.

Hall said as the investigation continued "it became clear that we were dealing with what appears to be a much different and very unique situation", and the department has stopped handling the case under normal officer involved shooting protocol.

The video footage was supposed to be filmed by one of Jean's neighbors in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, purportedly showing the officer pacing nervously on the landing one floor above.

The Dallas police chief announced at a press conference Friday afternoon that authorities are in the process of obtaining a warrant to arrest the officer involved, who has not yet been identified.

A relative, believed to be Jean's uncle, made an emotional Facebook post where he asked, "How can this nasty world take you away from me?"

Family and friends described Jean as a devout Christian and a talented singer. "I mean, we have not interviewed her, and like I said this is just a preliminary statement". "Lord, keep me sane". Jean may have learned about the college through the student missionaries, Frazier said. He was a risk assurance experienced associate.

"This is a awful tragedy", the professional services and auditing firm said via Twitter.

Jean, a native of Saint Lucia and a graduate of Harding University in Arkansas, who worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a tax and consulting service based in the United Kingdom, according to the Dallas Morning News.
