Trump tells UN Security Council China is interfering with U.S

In his speech at the United Nations General Assembly US President Donald Trump stuck to a hard line on China

US President Donald Trump accused China of meddling with the mid-term Congressional elections in November because of hardline stance on trade.

The U.S. president issued a strong warning to nuclear-aspirant Iran, which he deemed the "world's leading sponsor of terror" fueling "conflict around the region and far beyond". He then repeated the claim that "they [Chinese authorities] are trying to meddle in our elections and we're not going to let that happen just as we're not going to let that happen with Russian Federation".

"They don't want me or us to win because I am the first president to ever challenge China on trade", Mr Trump said on Wednesday.

Asked if he would meet with Maduro, Trump said he would meet with anybody if it would help ease the suffering in Venezuela, which he described as a "disgrace". We are winning on trade.

Chinese netizens also picked up on the laughter during Trump's speech on Tuesday at the U.N. General Assembly and were dismissive of his latest broadside against their country. That stand-alone supplement, which was clearly identified as a China Daily ad, warned about the risks of Trump's tariffs on Iowa farmers.

China's foreign minister Wang Li told Trump to his face when it was his turn to talk, 'We refuse to accept any unwarranted accusations against China'.

At his press conference on Wednesday, Trump quoted Michael Pillsbury is the Director of the Center on Chinese Strategy, Hudson Institute, who was on cable news talking about negotiations between China and the U.S.

Trump said all USA options are on the table to help end the political, economic and humanitarian chaos in Venezuela - even the "strong ones".

But with the American midterm elections less than two months away, USA intelligence and election protection officials have not cited any specific, credible Chinese efforts.

"From its continued hacking of our defence secrets to its focus on collecting vast repositories of personal and personality-identifying information to better enable espionage activities, China exploits our transparency and open society,"Coats said in remarks at The Citadel, a military college in SC".

Soybean prices have slid at least 12 points since the beginning of the trade dispute in early April, hurting US farmers.

Trump says the heads of states and delegates in the audience "weren't laughing at me".

"I took probably the biggest chip off the table".

Trump later tweeted pictures of a paid China Daily advertorial insert in the Des Moines Register, saying that "China is actually placing propaganda ads in the Des Moines Register and other papers, made to look like news. People had a good time with me". He showcased strong economic numbers, declared that the USA military is "more powerful than it has ever been before" and crowed that in "less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than nearly any administration in the history of our country".

At the conclusion of Wednesday's briefing call, the senior official said the Trump administration was working to declassify additional details about China's activity.

The fallout with the U.S. has pushed China closer to Russian Federation, he said.

Kim reiterated his commitment to denuclearisation to him in a letter and to South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Trump said.

In a freewheeling and at times wild press conference late last night, the U.S. president also revealed that he had snubbed Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister, during their visit to the United Nations - saying that relations with Canada were not good, and raising the spectre of collapsing Nafta.
