Saudi Crown Prince sidelined in G20 family photo

Theresa May wants meeting with Saudi prince to call for 'transparent' probe into killing of Jamal Khashoggi

Trudeau said he conveyed to Prince Salman "the need for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid to go to Yemen, which is the largest human catastrophe going on in the world right now".

Pompeo's boss, Donald Trump, has disputed that the Central Intelligence Agency has said Prince Mohammed is to blame.

"China firmly supports Saudi Arabia in its push for economic diversification and social reforms, and provides mutual support on issues involving their core interests", he continued. While foreign officials say Trump is blocking global trade, protesters accuse him of exploitative capitalism.

Meanwhile, the U.S. reiterated its decision to withdraw from the Paris agreement and affirmed its commitment to utilising all energy sources and technologies while protecting the environment.

US Defence Secretary Jim Mattis is the second senior member of the Trump administation who has now said he does not want to listen to the Khashoggi tapes because they are in Arabic.

Also the Saudi Crown Prince met at his residence in Buenos Aires the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Moscow accused the 24 sailors of illegally crossing the Russian border.

Saudi Arabia has said the prince had no prior knowledge of the murder.

The US president cancelled a formal sit-down with Mr Putin at the summit in Argentina over Moscow's seizure of Ukrainian vessels.

"I have read every piece of intelligence that is in the possession of United States government", Pompeo said in an interview with broadcaster CNN in Buenos Aires on the sidelines of the G20 summit.

Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie arrive at Ministro Pistarini International Airport. The 33-year-old was seen speaking with Trump, although the White House said they only exchanged "pleasantries".

"The world is a very risky place!" the statement began.

Meanwhile, bin Salman talked with world leaders as accusations swirled about the gruesome killing of Khashoggi, who was tortured before he died.

While UK prime minister Theresa May lauded Bush as "a great statesman and a true friend of our country". However, US President Donald Trump has dismissed the assessment and stressed that he values US ties with the kingdom.

It is thought the prince's other notable meeting in Argentina will be with Russia's President Putin.
