Apple on a hard decision is planning to sue the Tiawanese giant HTC over patents.
It is believed that HTC is infringing twenty patents of Apple related to user interface , precisely the touch screen. Adding a statement Apple CEO Steve Jobs said, “We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We’ve decided to do something about it.”
HTC which is maker of phones based on Google’s Android Operating system and is supposedly the biggest rival of iPhone at present. It has recently launched Google’s Nexus One which is capturing attention.
However, the lawsuit has been filed with the US International Trade Commission and in the US district court in Delaware.
