2009 conference, Apple declared that it will be the bidding off year for it to participate. This year’s techie expo has been renamed as Macworld 2010, shall evacuate the space for Apple executives and thus no ramp walk for Apple this year on the red carpet in Moscone Center’s North Hall.
But as the saying goes, “The Show Must Go On” Apple’s absence will definitely make the tech freaks crib. The event will continue for 5 days without the Apple of the eyes!
The show is been eagerly awaited by many of the vendors and techie, to feel how the show will be without the main star in 2010.
Last year the exhibition indulged the Moscone’s North and South halls. But this year the show will be a little less from that of the previous one. Entry for the MAC opera shall begin on February 11 to February 13 which according to many will be the strongest event in the Mac’s diary drawing more than 250 vendors which will present the Mobile Application Showcase, the iPhone developer’s assembly, and the Indie Developer Pavilion, arena for independent Mac developers. Plus, more than 60 vendors are introducing new products at the show. This year the show will feature the pillars of Macworld which are product discovery, conference education, and the social experience.
However the companies officials have guilt for the departure of Apple but on the other hand side they are on a positive note keeping their fingers crossed that the hue will attract many vendors this time.
Till now the registration for the expo has a vague figure, settling somewhere around 30,000 pre-registrations for the event. Company official Kent expects a house full show this time counting more than 700 members from the media to cover the story of 2010.
This year Kent has organized the show in a imperial manner by clubbing it with a musical evening by famous artist BT.
Besides the ramp walk of the products, Macworld 2010 will be featuring six conferences round discussing the impression of industry trends, users, including a track for IT professionals and a detailed instruction round on some specific software launched this year.
Eventually, the event’s score card depends on the vendors and attendee’s view, of getting some worth of the money and time invested in the attendance in this expo.
