Apple is ramping up to launch a tablet device that includes a built-in webcam and 3G support, an executive the France Telecom Orange said Monday during an interview.
Details about pricing and other features have not been disclosed, but, even so, it looks like the Apple Tablet is pretty much real and will be unveiled really soon.
In an exchange, Richard confirmed that not only will Orange – one of the world’s largest mobile-network carriers be carrying the device – but that the long-awaited tablet computer dubbed the iPad will come with an integrated web cam.
Apple hasn’t confirmed any table rumors so far, and won’t likely say anything until it holds a press conference, which is rumored to be set for January 26 or 27. That hasn’t, however, stopped people from talking about what features they expect the device to have.
Orange is primarily based in Europe and Africa. It is the fifth largest wireless carrier in the world, with more than 189 million customers.
