Apple’s White iPhone 4 Delayed : — Apple has just released that the white iPhone 4 will not be out until later this year, in a press release and confirmed that the shipments has been pushed. The news is in contrary to what Steve Jobs announced in iPhone 4 conference, that white iPhone 4 will hit the shelves by July 30th. Earlier Apple gave a statement just before the release of the iPhone 4 that the white version had “proven to be more challenging than expected”
Apple said that its black iPhone 4 had not been affected. The newest iPhone has created a series of headaches for Apple, the biggest being the suggestion that its design was flawed because of a problem with the antenna.
Mr. Bajarin said Apple may not want to release the white iPhone until it is ready to supply them in sufficient quantities: “My belief is that the demand for the white iPhone is much higher than they anticipated. They don’t want to ship them in dribs and drabs. They want to have a large number of units to satisfy customers’ need all at once.”
People converting their existing black iPhone 4 into a white one by swapping the external enclosure. The only problems they met being the speaker grill and the home button.
