Astronauts opening the new window

NASA astronauts, has just finished up with the work of installing the deck in the international space station which looks like a room with many windows, giving the unanimous view of earth making it a best platform to view the earth from its lower orbit.

The deck is the part of the Tranquillity node that has been delivered into the orbit. Endeavour has played the major role in putting the largest window ever in the space on ISS–the central piece of glass in the observation Cupola, which is a Italian wonder. The structure of the Cupola is 10-feet across and about 5-foot high, which has been designed to provide 360-degree views of the ISS, and of the Earth from its lower orbit.

The Cupola has been set up and armored with shutters that can be remotely turned over the windows when the dome is not required just to rescue them from micrometeorite impacts. Further the view through the dome’s window shall enable and help us in future space station operations, and shall result in sending more wonderful snapshots by astronauts and cosmonauts.

The idea of a glass dome in the deck is no less a fiction but its true and is offering unparalleled views of planets that appears over and over again just giving a vibe of star wars feel from the window of the structure.

However the vivacious and amazing views will be transmitted back to Earth, where they may inspire the upcoming generation who dreams of space which has recently mutilated by the president’s gesture.
