It is rumoured that Facebook wants to fight the social networking market emails. The launch of Facebook webmail would be later this year.After the reformulation of instant messaging led to jeopardize the famous Messenger, Facebook now plans to go out and compete in the market for email and give battle to Gmail, Google’s flagship product.
While not yet made any official announcement on this but the internet is revealing that under the “Project Titan”facebook is eyeing to Gmail. What would provide an advantage to the creators of the social network is that users could use their usernames, which would add only “@ facebook”.
Email is increasingly tied to the identity of persons, so that Facebook, one of the world’s most widely used platforms can become a good alternative mail.
Although the idea remains under lock, it was mentioned the last half of 2010 as the tentative date for the launch of the event.
