Recently Google introduced services and apps for Apple iPad but it sounds similar to that of iPhone app which was launched by Google earlier. Google with trendy ideas incorporated two pan view on iPad that displays conversation on left and messages on right.

Google app on iPad reflects both the desktop user interface and mobile user interface. But still Google views that larger display like Apple iPad should be equipped more so it may integrate the device with rich sensor and more user interactive services.
