Google Upgrades the Privacy of Buzz: - Concerns were raised as far as the personal information being made public through the Buzz from Google. However, Todd Jackson, Buzz product manager claimed that they did not get every thing correct as promised. As a result of this efforts are being made to improve the experience of the Buzz.
Buzz, the social networking tool by Google has been up graded in terms of privacy. The up grading includes a confirmation settings screen for all the users. The Buzz was introduced by Google in the early months of February, 2010. This product helped in providing news feed features to Gmail along with some added components on the iPhone and the android.
It was made clear that information was shared and this in turn simplified the process of blocking. The significant step in the up gradation of the Buzz was replacement of the auto following along with the suggestions for the people to follow. Every user who uses the product of Google Buzz would be able to adopt this up gradation.
Apart from that, Google has also made developments in the video tutorials of the Buzz through the introduction of a new YouTube Buzz channel. Google said that the roll out of the new changes in the Buzz regarding the privacy would be gradual. As a result, all the users of Google would not be able to see the confirmation of the page immediately and at the same time.
From Monday onwards Google claimed that the users would see the prompt pictures above when they access the Buzz. Apart from viewing, they would also be able to edit the people that they are following.
