The biggest story of this week is no doubt the lost iPhone 4G, the photos of which were posted by Gizmodo on Monday. Apple in a request letter asked to return the device but efforts are being made to find out whether it turns out to be the new and the next iPhone.
Apple would have a talk on Tuesday but it is expected that the talks would be centred on EPS as well as the unit volume sales instead of the gossip about the exclusives of the gadget blogs.
Apple succeeded to make great news in the last quarter. Much awaited tablet device iPad was launched in April. This is a high profile lawsuit that is initiated against HTC. It also purchased the Quattro Wireless which is a mobile ad company. In fact, this company became the basis of the iAd platform. However, iPad is not considered a factor because the quarter ended in March and the sale of iPad started after April 3rd. The stock holders are also happy following the rise in sale as well as higher earnings per share. Apple in fact has succeeded to put an impressive series of quarters.
Nothing different is expected on the talks of Tuesday. Apple’s revenue estimate for this quarter is between $11.2 billion and $13.25 billion. The earnings per share is targeted between $1.93 and $2.72. This figure itself indicates that the sales of the company have grown between 38 percent and 62 percent from the same quarter last year.
