Simultaneously the company also informed that “It’s important to know that the CPSC has said the glassware is not toxic. However, we’re requesting customers stop using the glassware and return them to any U.S. McDonald’s restaurant beginning June 9. “
McDonald’s gave additional details about the recall on Tuesday, including the price it would pay for returned glasses and that is USD 3. Customers could bring the glasses into any of Mcdonalds restaurants beginning on Wednesday and receive refunds in cash. They are not required to bring a receipt. Kindly note that Previous McDonald’s promotional glassware and Happy Meal toys are not involved in the recall.
