A new pact of deal has been witnessed which declares the worlds largest manufacturer to joining hands with Intel. It’s a decision which shall allow Nokia’s OS – Linux Maemo software platform (put in its flagship N900 phone) to work in sync with Intel’s Moblin, which is also based on Linux open-sourced software, to create a new platform, MeeGo.
This relationship leads to a product which serves the purpose of mobile OS and also for the light weighing netbook OS. This is a multipurpose device which involves the usage in various tech-devices such as the samrtphones, netbooks, in-vehicle technology and even connected televisions. It relies on ARM and X86 modules which support all advanced present day devices including Intel’s Atom processor.
Aimed to give a new definition to the technology advancements Meego comes as a threat in the mid of 2010, for Microsoft, Google and Apple. It actually is a step towards cutting technology which not only directs towards advancements but gives an insight for more offerings.
