Microsoft Inc. has unveiled an upgrade of its mobile service. The launch was done during the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona. The series is considered very promising and is called the Windows Phone 7 Series.
Steve Ballmer the Chief Exeecutive Office of Microsoft did the unveiling and said that the Windows Operating Systems are going to be available by 2010 festive season.
This upgrade is another step forward by the company to be able to reach the individual consumers and become friendlier with them. And in that way it has, what experts call a full and proper change, over the past services.
It is also providing a full 360 degree services rather than just attempting to be a master of only one segment.
This as of now has been taken up well by the industry. Microsoft has already entered into partnership with phone makers and wireless carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon, Vodafone, Telecom Italia, , Garmin-Asus, Dell, AT&T, Deustche Telekom, Orange, Sprint, SFR, Telefonica, Telstra, HP, HTC, LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba and Qualcomm.
This, believes Ballmer, will help the company to stop fall in sales and help it to turn its fortune.
