Microsoft & HP’s Courier To Beat Apple iSlate

It seems that tablet size notebooks or as they are being called smartbooks are the most talked about thing in the Consumer Electronic Show this year which is going to begin in Las Vegas. The touch-screen tablet smartbooks topic began with Kindle, then Lenovo made the entry and now it seems to be Microsoft and HP’s turn. But there is something different about Microsoft and HP.

Their tablet is not only going to be touch-screen but will have a dual screen. One can easily imagine the kind of product its going to be. It’ll be just like opening a diary but touch-screens on both the sides and not pages. It’ll have an e-reader and multi-touch and multi-media functions also. And the product will be known as Microsoft Courier.

Microsoft launched a Tablet PC System sometime back which was loved by some people but it failed to create a demand in the market. This time hopefully the product will get success as its going to face very tough competition now. The biggest reason is no doubt the Apple’s iSlate. The company is known for its tablet size products and are appreciated world-over and that’s why the iSlate is eagerly being waited to be unveiled somewhere around January27. So, what will matter the most at this moment is that which company provides the best technology and the best features. Whereas, nobody knows what Apple is going to bring but other companies too have tried their best to beat Apple in every way.

Talking about Microsoft, company is expected to take many manufacturers along with it to beat Apple in every way but till now no official announcement has been made as such. Neither about the manufacturers and nor about the unveiling date of the Microsoft Courier Booklet.

Doesn’t it look like a war of Tablets against Apple which is known to surprise the world in every way? But who surprises the most will be seen in CES 2010.
