Today PayPal spokesperson Mr. Anuj has posted an update on PayPal Indian blog and tried to answer the following queries of people.
1. Why did PaPal suspend local bank transfers and personal payments to and from India?
2. When will personal payments be turned back on?
3. When will local bank withdrawals be available?
4.The PayPal reversal has left with a negative balance. What shall the user do?
5. My payment was reversed but it was not a personal payment. What happened?
To recall, PayPal, an eBay company, has suspended payments to the personal and India and transfer to local banks in the country. Customers can still make payments business in India but traders cannot withdraw funds at local level. The services have been suspended while the company works with its PARTNET trade and other stakeholders to address the issues rose on the service. This is what has been published on the website of PayPal before.
