A woman from Florida didn’t know she would not be able to reach her destination because of portable toilet that proved fatal for her.
Dawn Johnson, 38, lost her life when a portable toilet crashed through her car’s windshield. She was driving south on State Road 15 shortly after 11 a.m. when two portable toilets fell from the trailer of a pickup truck traveling north.
The portable toilets were broken apart when they hit the road and a part of them crashed through Dawn’s car’s windshield. To avoid other pieces of debris she veered her car and it keeled off the road and crashed into a tree.
She was taken to the area hospital where she was declared dead. A passenger in Johnson’s car, Stephanie Wikes, 27, was listed in serious condition by hospital workers.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident and has not been referred or charged with a crime at the moment.
