A rise in smartphone industry with a continuous advent in the OS seems to give a new chance to Samsung’s cellular industry to launch their own operating system OS- Bada. With the release of this the company’s strategy was also proclaimed. It targets to control the price of smartphones without compromising in technology.
With promises keeping intact Samsung launched its first Bada based smartphone- Wave S8500. This super –AMOLED touchscreen smartphone comes with 1GHz processor, 5 mp camera with high definition video capabilities. This stylish sleek phone (10.9 mm thick) is Touchwiz 3.0 enabled which can customize various widgets, also boasts of HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) at 2.6 mbps. It will be available at $436 by the end of April in EU.
Samsung is expanding its current market to e-books and tablets. It has chalked out strategies for itself and plans to rule. It is further believed that Samsung is likely to differentiate itself with the launch of an affordable range of smart phones.
