Shares of Nintendo Rises to Its Steepest Level

A report said that Nintendo, the world’s biggest maker of video game consoles would now start selling a 3-D version of its DS game without the need of glasses. An equity market analyst, Yumi Nishimura claimed that this decision of Nintendo was indeed revolutionary because players would now be able to enjoy the 3D games without glasses. He said this at the Daiwa Securities SMBC Co.

This decision of Nintendo made the Mitsumi Electric Co. and other suppliers of different parts of the portable DS game to advance. It would increase the sales of the game consoles and this in turn would expand the business opportunities for the suppliers of the parts of the DS game.

Tokyo Stock Exchange showed that the shares of the Mitsumi Electric Co. rose 3.9% to 2,042 yen. This in fact was the highest rate since 16th October, 2009. The company made the second largest gain in the 225 stock average of Nikkei.

Similarly, the shares of the Hosiden Corp. rose to about 4.2% and its estimated value is about 1224 yen. Since 21st October, 2009, this was the highest value of the shares of the Hosiden Corp. the shares of Nintendo rose up to 8.7% which was the steepest rise since November, 2009.
