Sony Ericsson joins the bandwagon; launches smartphones

Sony Ericsson has launched two new smartphones during the ongoing Mobile Congress. The two phones are very high-end and are called Vivaz Pro and the X10 Mini and X 10 Mini Pro. They have touch screen facility.

While the Vivaz runs on Symbian platform, the other two use Google Android. This with the earlier two version- Vivaz and X10 are together going to be called the “fabulous five.”

The X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro have all the features of the existing model and the added benefits are the 5 megapixle camera, auto focus, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack besides some others. In other words, the two models are the compact and technically better version of X10.

The Vivaz, on the other hand, uses Symbian and runs on Nokia. It also has a 5.1 megapixle camera with all the other facilities that X10 Mini has. Has internal memory capacity of 75 MB. It also has face recognition technology.

This phone is expected to come by the second quarter of this year. The prices for all the models have not been disclosed yet.

Sony Ericsson came up with these phones so that it is part of the smartphone revolution.
