Sony Repositioned Play Station Console

Sony repositioned its PlayStation Console through the dealings of the Baseball. This would now perhaps become a hub for digital entertainment. In an interview on Wednesday, senior vice president for the PlayStation Network at Sony Computer Entertainment America, Peter Dille said that this live streaming service with the Major League Baseball would be something more than a game console.

Sony Corporation has signed a deal to bring the live streaming service of Major League to PlayStation 3 video game. The owners of the PlayStation by the end of this week are expected to be able to sign up with the Major League Baseball service. This would be the latest in the series of the deals of digital distribution.

With the help of this device content would perhaps be delivered to the living room in a re-defined manner. Similar to Sony Corporation, Microsoft also portrays the console of Xbox 360. However, the deal with Sony is the first deal with MLB.

This deal has given Sony a boost up for the time being. The users who use the online services of the PlayStation Network would be easily able to gain access to the MLB that still exists. Though there is a revenue split associated with the deal of Sony yet Sony has not specified the terms of the deal.

According to the chief executive for MLB Advanced Media, Mr. Robert A. Bowman, the deal has really opened up the package of baseball to a large number of viewers.
