The strong signals of the iPad can simply disrupt many other wireless connections. Federal Communications Commission of USA allows the broad casting of Wi-Fi at higher levels of power than they are allowed in US and Israel.
The hottest new product from Apple, the iPad which is the latest craze in the market now has been banned by the government of Israel. The main reason because of which the import has been banned was the capacity that the gadget consumes on wireless networks. This might also lead to a disruption of other devices.
With the ban, even the tourists re prevented from entering into the country with the iPad. However, the custom officials claim that they have already confiscated 10 tablet devices before the announcement of the regulation.
The officials of Israel claim that the ban of the iPad has nothing to do with the trade of the device. In fact, it is a kind of precaution in order to assure that the wireless devices which are already in use in Israel dos not gets affected.
Till now Israel is the only country to declare such a ban officially. Schubert claims that he expects that the problem would be resolved soon because Apple is going to launch the iPad internationally on 10th May.
The chief distributor of Apple in Israel did not made any comment on the decision of the ministry of the Communications. The confiscated iPads in the mean time would be held by the custom officials.
