Despite a strong cold wave US retailers finished last year’s festival season with a bang. Though a few like apparel chains and departmental stores took a hit, the overall retail sales remained high in December. Online retailers, jewelers and consumer electronics retailers all saw sales gains last month, revealed MasterCard Advisors’ SpendingPulse on Wednesday.
