Apple’s has announced about its iPhone OS 4.0. Apple is expecting that with the iPhone OS 4.0 the demand for the iPhone would consequently increase. At the same time, the corporate IT would be able to safely and enthusiastically use the iPhone.
It is now currently available in the market in the form of SDK. This would greatly benefit the developers of iPhone. The iPhone OS 4.0 is expected to deliver a lot of facility and Apple is sure that it would attract a lot of customer world wide.
The existing owners of the iPhone 3G S and the iPad is also supposed to be able to use the iPhone OS 4.0 and run their devices. The older iPhone 3G and some of the second generation iPod Touch devices would be able to access the iPhone OS 4.0. However, all would not be able to get its facilities. This facility would be largely available based on the capability of the hardware.
Till date, the iPhone has been criticized only because of its inability to do multi tasking. Though there was a basic multi tasking at the level of the operating system but these were few in number. It included only services such as checking and sending emails, looking for the server-based alerts along with the availability of several updates of the app. However, the app developers could not take advantage of this situation. Apple hopefully claims that the iPhone OS 4.0 would surely benefit even the App developers.
