After the decision of the US Government takes on Toyota corolla 2009-2010 for a formal investigation in to the complaints that were raised against it, now its Akio Toyoda of Toyota has agreed to face a congressional hearing into problems that have triggered worldwide recalls of nearly nine million Toyota cars. There is a major steering problem in the recent edition of the vehicle. There were approximately 150 complaints against the late model Corolla.
All these complaints were submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. But according to sources Toyota had yet to be informed of the investigation. In this investigation all but 500,000 vehicles of the company will be covered. When the news of investigation came from the US Government, the auto industry was taken aback on Toyota’s counter explanation.
Company is considering a recall of the Corolla just after the news arrived. But after that earlier in this week Mr. Toyoda apologized for his lack of public appearances earlier in the recall crisis and he admitted that the company had expanded beyond its competence. Now he is ready to answer all the questions of US investigating committee’s with all sincerity.
