Wonder Woman just swapping her famous starry dress and opt for a decidedly more modern look. No more one piece swimsuit with the colors of America. Place the trousers leggings and black leather jacket for the super-heroine created by William Moulton Marstonin 1941.
This complete overhaul, including the Christian Science Monitor echoed, was made for the release (June 30) of the 600th album, the comic, published by DC Comics. It is the work of Jim Lee, the famous comic book artist.

Who says new suit also says new story. The developers have indeed had to adapt their script to a more urban, less tied to the Greek mythological origins of Wonder Woman. Straczynski gave details in a press release:
Gods, for reasons of their own, but which may have something to do with their survival and that of the Earth, have changed the timeline. In the new chronology, the gods have withdrawn their protection of the Island of Paradise, years ago, and left her vulnerable to attacks. And she was attacked. Led by an evil character, an army landed on the island, equipped with weapons that could kill even the Amazons.
The only survivor of the massacre, Wonder Woman finds refuge on Earth, where his adventures take place. So it is a decidedly darker heroin, which will get fans of the series. Which does not take anything, however with a legendary Wonder Woman, quite the contrary.
