Yahoo Accounts Hacked In China

After Google it is now the turn of the Yahoo. It was found that the Yahoo accounts of three journalists in China became absolutely inaccessible since the last few weeks. The smoke of the Google and China had not yet disappeared completely when another spark came up. Yahoo, another leading internet service provider complained that the account was hacked.

Along with the three journalists, there was also an analyst whose site showed the same results. When complained, the technicians of Yahoo informed the affected that their account had been hacked.

The reason for which problems arose with the Yahoo account was not completely clear. However, the people whose accounts were affected mainly made their focus on China.

According to China correspondent for The Independent and the Irish Times newspapers, Clifford Coonan, when logged in on Tuesday, there was a notice of an issue with the account. In a similar way, another reporter claimed that there were repeated messages in her account from Yahoo since the last month. The analyst on the other hand claimed that for four or five days he was totally locked out from his account.

The analyst however, did not want to reveal his name due to the sensitivity of the issue but only claimed that his registration details have been hacked by someone.

It was investigated by Google that including yahoo several other large search engine companies were the targets of the cyber attack in China. It has to be seen now what steps do yahoo take against this hacking incident.
