Yahoo signs partnership to integrate Twitter into your pages

Yahoo and Twitter reached an agreement to integrate the contents of the network of microblogging pages and search results on this site.

It is now possible to log in to Twitter via Yahoo products such as homepage, email and content pages, allowing the User update your microblog and monitor the network without leaving the portal. In addition, some search and content pages of Yahoo (such as Finance, Entertainment and Sports) will include material posted on Twitter in real time.

This initiative follows another partnership of Yahoo, with Facebook in order to supercharge audience and benefit from integration with social networks. This agreement, reached in December 2009, allows Internet users entering the site using the Yahoo User Name and password for Facebook and share articles, photos and other content with friends.

The Twitter cofounder Biz Stone celebrated the operation. “The information from a single tweet can travel light years beyond with this integration to Yahoo,” he said in a statement. “Tweets bring in more important places where and when it is most needed.”
