Youtube gets extra security

Google is always making news, be it the new broadband service market, the new smartphone or the controversial video-sharing site Youtube. Since the launch from 2005 this site has always been a subject of controversy and has raised many eyebrows.

This time it is for the new parental control which it has included –safety mode. It keeps children away from all the unreceptive content. It manages three major tasks; restricts all nude, pornographic, narcotic, violent videos, secondly shrugs objectionable comments on videos automatically (one can wish to view comments, but comments with profanity will be filtered out); and at last will dead bolt of the Safety Mode for all users, even if a user is logged out, one can not turn off Safety Mode.

This mode is specific to the browser and to the account in use. Which means the user needs to turn it on whenever and whichever browser he uses. Also, one is supposed to turn on the security mode for all the accounts he uses. The clause attached to this is it cannot be activated in the private browsing mode. The reason being; no trails are left after private browsing .The only way out to safeguard the kids from watching the online content is to make them understand the responsibility.
