Dell is soon creating news with Android based tablet computers. This news has in fact been leaked out because Dell has not yet officially announced the launch of its tablet device.
It has been uncovered by Engadget and it claims that the documents have leaked out. The documents contain the information about the Dell Streak Tablet which is supposed to be of 5 inch multi touch screen. Apart from this, details have also been found about the 7 inch multi touch tablet device which is supposed to be known as the Looking Glass.
The marketing material for the Streak 5 inch reveals that perhaps the device would be released this summer. There is a possibility that the device might be launched as late as September. On the other hand, it is expected that Dell Looking Glass would be released in the month of November.
However, the documents obtained do not give any kind of information on the prices of these devices. Both of these devices are supposed to be available with some unique features.
It is expected that the Streak would have the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. It would come with a 5 mega pixel camera and a Micro SD slot card.
The Looking Glass on the other hand, which would be of a 7 inch touch screen, would be running on Android 2.1. The screen display resolution of the device would be 800 x 480 resolutions.
