Google Launches Developer version of Chrome and Geolocation now added

Google has recently launched their open source Browser Google Chrome 5 For Developers, Google Chrome 5 is now available for all 3 OS Windows, Linux and Mac platforms and this updated version supports geolocation APIs.

The Geolocation APIs will allow developers to point the location of your computer by analyzing the WiFi networks around your location. This would enable websites to serve content based on the location of the user, which it would access by requesting the browser to share its location. The geolocation feature is optional and would require user confirmation every time.

Location-aware browsing feature is already available in Firefox, and soon it will be live in stable build of Google Chrome. As of now, this Geolocation feature is very limited and not available for everyone only developer can test it and then it will be available for everyone.
