Prepping it up to the known limits, Motorola is reportedly working on am android-based smart phone which will boast of a screen display as big as 4.3 inch. As per reports the cell-phone manufacturer is working on a phone code-named Shadow with one of the largest displays around. Only HTC HD2, the widows-based mobile will match the dimensions, while the closest one on the android platform is Sony’s Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, which sports a screen size of 4.0 inch. Others running on the android OS like the one from Motorola itself named as the Motroral Droid and Google’s Nexus One come close to as much as 3.7 inch.
When measured in pixels, Shadow’s resolution is expected to be 850 by 484 pixels. Though further details are yet to be known, it is expected to include some high-end features like tablet shape (as revealed by a leaked picture), an 8.5 megapixel camera and a cutting edge HDMI video-out port.
However, details regarding the version of Android to be offered, storage capacity, processor speed and date of scheduled release are unknown still. Unconfirmed reports reveal that the cell-phone manufacturer is coming up with a number of android-based phones, with different features and also with smaller displays.
So, if the rumor-mills are churning out the truth, the Shadow might be something to watch out for from Motorola, which made many heads turn with its RAZR series.
