Nokia brings Dual SIM handsets for Indian Market

The Finnish Company, Nokia has introduced two new Dual SIM handsets for the Indian market.  The two handsets are Nokia C1-00 and Nokia C2.  The on growing demand for the Dual SIM phones has prompted the Finnish Company to introduce handsets supporting Dual SIM.  The handsets are trendy and stylish.  To strengthen the market share in India, Nokia’s strategy to introduce Dual SIM phones will help it hold the ground firmly.

Many people today opt for Dual SIM handsets as they are convenient and easy to handle.   Apart from economizing time and cost, use of Dual SIM handsets increase the productivity of the person who otherwise has to shuffle between the two phones.

Entry-level consumers need dual SIMs for various reasons, including economising time and costs, improving efficiency and for increased convenience. To address these consumer requirements, Nokia has launched these two devices that offer multiple SIM capabilities with a balanced feature set and relevant innovations at affordable price points here,” said, Nokia Executive Vice-President (Mobile Phones) Mary McDowell.

Nokia C1 is equipped with 128 x 160 pixels TFT color screen, FM radio, 3.5mm headset jack.  Although it is a Dual SIM handset but only one SIM is functional at a time.  This handset costs about $42.

Nokai C2 is integrated with S40 UI, pre installed with Nokia Life Tools, GPRS data, a VGA camera and a microSD memory card slot.  This phone costs about $54.
