According to Mr. Jean Claude, other euro zone should not come under the burden of the so called the mistakes committed by the Greece as others are not ready for it.
He also commented that if the country is not able to convince its fellow in the union then Greece should be well aware of the fact that it might face the risk of sanctions.
Later in the EU Finance ministers meet in Brussels Mr. Juncker raised the point that the taxpayers in the European Union should not take it if Greece failed on its policy issues. However Greece should undertake the efforts to look into the said matter.
Upon asking the question from the radio station people to Mr. Juncker, will he be discussing the Athens matter as well with the euro zone finance ministers? He replied that he certainly will.
Further he has been asked that EU Finance ministers has made up there mind to elect Portugal’s Vitor Constancio as the next vice-president of the European Central Bank, to head the ECB in 2011. To which Mr. Juncker replied that Mr. constancio has a good track record that is why the preference is given to him and Germany has to pull up the socks in this regard.
